Private Room for rent in a newly remodeled home on a 1/4 acre in the lovely Ainaloa community in Pahoa. It is a 12x12 bedroom plus a closet so its a great size. There is a shared bathroom with the only shower in the home but we do have our own private toilet as well. Bathroom has its own closet where you can store your toiletries. You'll have your own uncovered parking space. You'll have full access to the kitchen and can use appliances. We are a couple in our late 20's with a small dog that is very well trained, quiet, and hypoallergenic. One of us works from home and the other is a housekeeper here on the east side. We are looking for a quiet individual or couple. Ideally looking for someone who is cleanly and has a job or is in school. We are easy going generally just need someone who will clean up after themselves and take part in household chores (group effort). You can use the washer and dryer during certain hours of the day, it's located thru our bedroom. The room is partially furnished with a queen bed that has been well kept. There is no private entrance. We have a spare room for occasional guests. You can occasionally have guests stay there if you let us know in advance. We stay on top of our water catchment maintenance and have a full filtration system including UV light so our water is safe to drink. Some extra stuff: -We are totally pet friendly but do not allow dogs to be chained up outside or indoor-outdoor cats. Larger dogs need to be settled, shedding dogs will require some extra assurances. Cat boxes are to be kept inside of your room and cleaned regularly. Any dog or cat poop/pee will need to be thrown into their own separate trash outside. -Smoking is OK outside and away from doors and windows. We have a 1/4 acre so there is a lot of space to take a walk. If you want to set up an EZ up and a chair in the back, we're ok with that. -We don't have storage space anywhere but under the house. -We take the trash to the dump, so wont need to worry about that. Considering a trash pick up service that we can split the cost of. -We ask that couples bring a mini fridge with them and utilize that if they need more space than what we'll provide with the main fridge. The same for any single person who does large grocery trips or any meal prepping. We have some fridge and freezer space that you can use, but not a lot. -We wont ask you to care for our pet. -We take care of the yard. the satellite photo on Zillow is from before the property was sold and remodeled, I have added newer photos of the property to the listing
