While prior work experience with children is helpful, it is not required.
We will provide full training for the right candidate! We are opening a NEW After School program at Pahoa Elementary School and need energetic and compassionate Group Leaders! We're also seeking Group Leaders for Holualoa, Kealakehe, Volcano and other schools in Hawaii.
Opportunities available on Maui, Kauai, and Oahu as well.

Kama'aina Kids is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Group Leaders in our After School programs.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a group of students during our after-school program hours.
Hours:
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 1:
30 or 2pm until 5:
30pm.
Hours may vary slightly by school and program needs.
However, No Evenings or Weekends!
Responsibilities:
Provide a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and engage in after-school activities.
Help develop and implement age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, games, and educational projects.
Ensure that all students are accounted for and maintain accurate attendance records.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the success of the program.
Establish support and appropriate relationships with children and their families, providing daily updates to parents/guardians.
Care for and maintain facilities and equipment used by the group, with a focus on hygiene standards.
Attend and participate in all required training and meetings.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED No experience required, full training provided Personal Attributes:
Able to work well with children of various ages Reliable, punctual Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow Passion for working in a non-profit organization and helping to make a difference in the lives of young people

A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred, but candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in educating students will also be considered.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives on a daily basis.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with both families and coworkers.
Must also be able to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment.
Exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to handle multiple tasks and situations effectively.
Experience in a supervisory role within a child care or education environment is appreciated.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
